First look at the space

Our first look at the space at WaterStreet Market Ste. D  "Be Still My Heart".  We are all in love with this space.  Great natural lighting, a loft that is every artists dream, restaurants close by, there are 4, tourist and locals shopping.  What more could we ask for?  And it is an Art District.  As one artist said "If Art does not sell in this location in Corpus Christi, it would not sell any where in this City.  We think she is right so we are taking a chance.  Where do we sign the papers.

Our artists are currently exercising their painting skills in a slightly different way from usual. Not so much painting on canvas as painting on walls and generally preparing our new premises for the opening of our gallery on September 1st.
We are determined to be up and running in time to participate, in our own premises, in the September 3rd ArtWalk and we are fixing to co-incide our "Grand Opening" with the October 1st ArtWalk.

First Friday ArtWalk

Treehouse Art Collective were at Desiree's by the Bay in the Art Center for the First Friday ArtWalk.

Gloria Hunter was on hand to talk with potential customers about her photographic art.

Ellen Fehrenkamp was there with Corpus Gus and all his friends.

Lots of people came to visit with The Treehouse Art Collective artist in the course of the evening ...

... and were entertained by the music of Steven Hansen.
