Norma Gafford, Treehouse Featured artist for July

Treehouse Art Collective, LLC would like to invite you to our Opening Reception featuring Artist Norma Gafford.  Norma works in many mediums such as sterling silver, copper, brass, charcoal, prisma color pencils, watercolor  and pastels too.  Norma loves to present her mermaid in many forms.  We hope to see you at the Opening Reception for Norma this Friday, July 1, 2011 from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.  Treehouse will also participate in ArtWalk that night with music in the WaterStreet Courtyard, in addition to our Reception for Norma in the Gallery.

Treehouse will have a reception on Friday, Feb. 11th for featured artists Debbie Cannatella and Diane Weiner as well as a Birthday Party for Corpus Gus.  Special guest, Dennis Ramos, will be singing live in the loft.

Reception on Friday, Jan 21st, "Turning a New Leaf" Reception

Kaye Hass is doing some exciting new things with copper wire, jewels and copper beads.  Come by and see them.  She will be in the Gallery during our Reception to visit with you about all  her work.

Caroly Utigard Thomas will also be with us during our Reception and working on some of her newer pieces.  Talk with her about her new ideas for the new year.

New in the Gallery is Debbie Cannatella's original  "Shoot for the Stars".  Come in and see this stunning original watercolor that speaks to the sky.  Debbie will be with us in the Treehouse during our Reception.  See what she is doing and visit with her about her extremely wonderful watercolors.

Also we have an original oil by Vicki Allen that is so typical of our south Texas coast, "Aransas Palms".  You need to see this in person to get the full feel of the clouds and water.

Treehouse has taken everything off the walls and re-hung the Gallery with the addition of some new pieces. Please come by and see the wonderful Art by local artists.  Our featured Artists will be in the Gallery during our reception.

January Featured Artists

Kaye Hass has worked in clay for many years and has awards to show for it.  She has been a part of the Barry Brown Clay Studio and Sculpture Society at the Art Center of Corpus Christi for many years also.  This adorable frog is one of her new pieces as she is experimenting with new glazes.  Another of her new adventures is in Copper Jewelry and it is meticulous in detail as in her clay work.  Come by and see this darling frog that will make your heart smile. January Featured Artists at the Treehouse

Carolyn Utigard Thomas is one of our Featured Artists at the Treehouse for January.  Carolyn works in watercolor and often extends her painting onto her mats.  Come see some of her many diverse works in originals paintings and prints. 
Carolyn will  also be at the Art Center of Corpus Christi from Jan. 5th until the 18th.  Go by and see her in person.
She will also be present at the Treehouse on Art Walk Jan. 7th from 5:30 to 9 pm and at our reception for "Turning a New Leaf" on Jan. 21st from 5:30 to 8 pm.

Kaye Hass is our other Featured Artist at the Treehouse in January.  Kaye has worked in clay for many year with her well known "Ladies" and has recently started making some amazing copper jewelry.  Come by and see the beautiful pieces of clay and jewelry. Kaye will be present during our First Friday ArtWalk and our reception for "Turning a New Leaf".  Come by and talk to her about her wonderful work.
